Human Kidney For Sale

$100,000.00

Organ donation has long been upheld as an altruistic endeavor, guided by the principles of selflessness and compassion. Consequently, governmental bodies, professional societies, and ethics committees universally denounce the idea of permitting the sale of organs, particularly kidneys. Altruism in organ donation implies a voluntary act, free from coercion and devoid of any form of compensation, financial or otherwise. The gratification derived from such acts stems solely from the inherent satisfaction of making a self-sacrificial contribution.

Regrettably, the pool of altruistic donors is limited. While the majority of organs for transplantation are sourced from brain-dead or deceased donors (cadaveric organ transplants), the number of living donors remains insufficient. This scarcity of willing donors results in a critical shortage of organs for transplantation, leading to the tragic loss of thousands of lives in need of organ transplants.
